Blush Tones and Steely Notes

top: J.Crew, jeans: Old navy, blazer: Nordstrom

This J.Crew tee is a favorite of mine. My mom, in true support of my fashion addiction, gave this to me for Christmas last year and little does she know it has been an inspiration for many outfits. This tee is begging to be styled, accessorized and just played with. It is so simply colored a light blush pink with 3/4 length sleeves and a slightly shimmery layer of tuxedo-style pleating down the center. It works under almost any type of jacket (blazer/jean/military) or with practically any style pant or skirt. Here I decided to play down the femininity of the pink hue by pairing it with an oversized blazer, faded slim cut jeans and my sky-high Pour La Victoire booties. ♥
